Namsang and Hangma are a married Limbu couple who face a challenging situation. After a brief argument with her husband Namsang, Hangma makes a life-altering decision by returning his Yuparung, a sacred coin. She then falls in love with another man and chooses to marry him instead.

However, the Jaari, a traditional payment, is claimed by Namsang and his family from Hangma’s family. Despite their refusal to pay, Hangma is forced into slavery in Namsang’s household until the Jaari is settled. This compelling storyline explores themes of love, sacrifice, and the preservation of cultural traditions within the Limbu community.
