Terms  and Conditions

 Team Composition:

  • Teams may consist of a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 8 players.
  • Each team must consist of a maximum of 5 players on the field, including the goalkeeper.
  • Teams are allowed a maximum of 3 substitutions per game.
  • Only one player of Indian nationality is allowed per team. The rest of the players may not be from India and other country.
  • Substitutions can be made at any time during the game, but the substituted player must exit and enter the field at the designated substitution area.

Player Eligibility:

  •  All players must provide valid proof of nationality during the registration process.

  • Any team found in violation of the nationality rule will be subject to penalties, including disqualification from the tournament.

Liability:

  • The tournament organizers, sponsors, and facility owners are not liable for injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the event.

Team Registration:

  • Teams must submit their player roster, including nationality documentation, before the start of the tournament.
  • Incomplete or false information may result in disqualification.

 Game Duration:

  • Each game will consist of two halves(after the knockout stage).
  • In the event of a tie, the game will proceed to a penalty shootout.

Knockout Stages:

  • The knockout stages will include the following rounds: Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Finals.

  • In the event of a draw in the knockout stages, the match will proceed to a penalty shootout.

 Match Schedule:

  • Matches will be scheduled on specific days and times.

  •  Teams are responsible for being ready to play at the scheduled time.

Discipline:

  • Yellow Card: A player receiving a yellow card must leave the field for 2 minutes. Multiple yellow cards may result in additional penalties.
  • Red Card: A player receiving a red card is ejected from the game.

Tournament Format:

League Structure:

  • The league will consist of a predetermined number of participating teams.

  • Teams will be divided into groups based on a draw or seeding.

  • Each team will play against every other team in its group in a round-robin format.

  • The top teams from each group(winner and runner-up) will advance to the next stages.

Points System:

  • Three points will be awarded for a win.

  • One point will be awarded for a draw.
  • No points will be awarded for a loss.

  • In the event of a tie-in points, the following tiebreakers will be applied in order: i. Goal Difference ii. Goals Scored iii. Head-to-Head Result.

Fair Play

  • All participants are expected to adhere to the principles of fair play and sportsmanship.

  • Any unsportsmanlike conduct may result in penalties, including team disqualification.

Organizer’s Decision:

i. The tournament organizers reserve the right to make decisions on matters not covered by these rules.

ii. The organizers’ decisions are final and binding.

By participating in the league, all teams and players agree to abide by these rules. Failure to comply may result in penalties, including disqualification from the tournament.

Important Points to Remember:

  • Player Responsibility: While we ensure the necessary safety measures, each player is responsible for their well-being on the field. Gosero United FC and its organizers will not be held responsible for any injuries sustained during the tournament.
  • Play with Peace: Futsal is a game that thrives on skill, teamwork, and fair play. Play with a spirit of camaraderie and respect for your fellow competitors. Remember, it’s not just about winning; it’s about enjoying the game.
  • Well-disciplined Game: Maintain the highest level of discipline on the field. No rough play, aggressive tackles, or unsportsmanlike behavior will be tolerated. Let the game be a showcase of talent and sportsmanship.
  • Adhere to the Rules: Familiarize yourself with the tournament rules and regulations. Understanding and following these rules ensures a smooth and fair competition for everyone involved.
  • Respect Referees: Referees are present to maintain order and fairness. Respect their decisions, even if you disagree. Unsportsmanlike conduct towards referees will not be tolerated.
  • Support Each Other: Encourage your teammates and opponents alike. Futsal is not just a competition; it’s an opportunity to build friendships and mutual respect among players.
